What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
In consecutive interpreting the speaker pauses and the interpreter translates after each segment – suited to meetings, notaries and courts. Simultaneous interpreting runs at the same time as the speech, usually from a booth, and is used at conferences.
How far in advance should I book an interpreter?
The earlier the better – especially for less common languages and the summer season on the coast. For urgent dates, write to us and we will check availability.
